Description Rainer Rillke @commons.wikimedia 2013-05-24 18:25:35 UTC
Original bug title:
<translate> transferred to translation subpage when entering a translation at [[Special:Translate]] that contains a non-closed <nowiki>

This should never happen, I guess:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template%3AWatchlistNotice%2FTranslation%2Fde&diff=96853588&oldid=96853388

Result: Translated page (the /de sub-page) was listed at [[Special:PageTranslation]]
Comment 1 Niklas Laxström 2013-05-24 18:45:32 UTC
What is the expected behavior?
Comment 2 Rainer Rillke @commons.wikimedia 2013-05-25 14:08:58 UTC
automatically(In reply to comment #1)
1) Not messing with the next translation unit (see diff link I posted)
2) Not inserting <translate> to a tranlation or ignoring it
3) This may be achieved by adding a closing "</nowiki>" at the end.
Comment 3 Rainer Rillke @commons.wikimedia 2013-05-25 14:09:59 UTC
@3) ... at the end of the unit that is inserted and contains unclosed <nowiki>s.
Comment 4 Niklas Laxström 2014-11-20 08:47:57 UTC
I'm not aware of any other piece of code handling unclosed <nowiki> tags.
