At the bottom of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page "Terms of Use" links to https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Terms_of_use?useformat=mobile whilst "Privacy" links to https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_policy without the "?useformat=mobile". Please add this to the privacy policy link.

Alternately we could set up the mobile subdomain redirect for wikimedia.org...

Personally I would close this as WONTFIX and instead open a bug to setup the mobile subdomain redirect for wikimedia.org

The Foundation website for whatever reason doesn't redirect to mobile. We should honour that in our terms of use and privacy links.

The MobileFrontend extension itself should not decide whether to serve the mobile site or not. It should also not make assumptions about how that wiki is configured. Max's patch does this but it adds a lot of unnecessary code bloat in my opinion that is not widely reusable.

Howie what are your thoughts on this?

Agree w/Jon: ideally, we should make all the pages on WMF wiki display nicely on mobile, not just the privacy policy, and I don't think it's worth it to add hacky code to that one page.

We'll use a separate spike to investigate making WMF wiki mobile friendly in conjunction with Fundraising Tech, since there are special concerns around donation landing pages.
