When a sysop tried to protect [[de:Kadhi (Gericht)]] for creation, a database error occured:

A database error has occurred. Did you forget to run maintenance/update.php after upgrading? For me this seems not to be an issue with upgrading, but with AFT. If AFT protections work on page ids it doesn't make sense to protect missing articles anyway.

I just pushed a patch to gerrit (that will ignore the AFT protection for non-existing pages) & we'll aim to deploy it this week.
