Description albin 2013-06-10 20:26:16 UTC
I've used the online service "amara.org" to create subtitles for a number of videos. I copied the SRT-text and saved it on a subtitle page on Commons, but when I watch it the text is really out of sync. When I managed to sync it I looked at the timecode in my video editing programme, and there are huge differences between the time code in the programme and on Commons.

I think we rely on the Kultura HTML5 video player which possibly has sync problems for timed text.

Also see bug 49408 (maybe related)

This should be fixed with the patch that fixed bug 49408 please reopen if this is still not working as expected.
