But at the same time! 
Seach should work in all languages the user understand. 
I frequently switch the langunge (english for scientific stuff, german for local stuff). I expect the app to show the best results of all languages I understand so I dont have to switch everytime. 
Currently it's easier to just google to find the article wanted.

QuickSearch has been taken away in the new Android app, and QuickSearch isn't really prominent on Android 4.0+ anyway. Closing as WONTFIX.

However, the feature of searching in multiple languages is definitely on the roadmap.
