Description Cenarium 2013-06-16 22:46:53 UTC
For information purposes, it would be appreciable to have a magic word returning the number of protected pages, according to the settings of [[Special:ProtectedPages]], i.e. something like:

{{NUMBEROFPROTECTEDPAGES|namespace|action|protectionlevel|indefiniteonly=yes|cascadingonly=yes}}

with the last two parameters being options.

Thinking about redirects, an option to exclude those would be nice if possible, but I guess since Special:ProtectedPages can't, a magic word can't either. Then a new parameter with a minimal page size would allow to approximately exclude those.
