http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Nearby currently doesn't show any results. I would expect to see links to file pages which have photos of nearby landmarks and points of interest. This would also be very useful going forward to help editors find suitable photos for articles... Can someone make it so?
It's enabled, but I think Nearby is querying NS_MAIN instead of NS_FILE.
Should this be the default namespace to search in for GeoData on commons? I'm not sure if this should be a configurable change in GeoData or in the frontend code.
I tried running this on the NS_FILE namespace and it seems that page images do not work on the file namespace... however the results are awesome. I just discovered a load of photos of the wikimedia office on the nearby page of commons. We should definitely get this working!
Ideally this would use $wgContentNamespaces (If it doesn't already), although I noticed that commons doesn't have NS_FILE as a content namespace, which seems odd to me.

There is an issue with PageImages which makes the upload CTA show on all photos in the nearby list. Will cut a bug for that when possible.
