Unclear if this is a bug or a feature. Enhanced RC groups log entries together, which doesn't always seem to make sense, especially if there are a lot of some log entry (like upload)

Yes it's a feature. I suggest to file a bug with a clear scope/usecase/description of problem at hand. :)
