Description jeblad 2013-07-01 16:37:16 UTC
When a client page is updated due to changes in the repo the timestamp for last change as printed in the page footer is updated. The page history is although not updated, and then when someone tries to figure out what actually changed there is no further clue. This is very confusing.

The footer timestamp might be updated as an implicit act of some other process, but the user is given no hint about this. Likewise the history is incomplete and here too there is no hint about this. In both cases additional explanations might help the user, but this would only be simple fixes and no real solution.

The correct solution would be to merge parts of the item change history into the page change history, or to merge the complete history.
