Start typing "test", when the search overlay shows up, there's only "est"
Tested on Windows Phone 8 (IE 10).

Any suggestions for how to debug this?

I remember in Windows Phone you cannot focus the input using javascript. This might have something to do with it.

There's a phone in the office which is probably best bet for debugging..

Note works fine on Windows Phone 7
