Try adding: "Members of IFIP Working Group 2.1" as a category.

Autosuggest matches it to the non-existing "Members of IFIP Working Group 2" and when saving, nothing is saved.

This should be fixed by the above, which we will deploy shortly. Marking as fixed; sorry for the disruption.

Categories with extensions should now be properly inserted in the article.

It should be noted that there is a separate bug where after a successful edit, the 'catlinks' element is not refreshed which makes it appear that nothing is saved.
