Please set up the extension "Thanks" on nowiki. The setup as described on the extensions page should be sufficient, but use a standard setup if appropriate.

Looking at <https://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/InitialiseSettings.php.txt>, I currently see:

---
'wmgUseEcho' => array(
	'default' => false,
	'testwiki' => true,
	'test2wiki' => true,
	'mediawikiwiki' => true,
	'enwiki' => true,
	'metawiki' => true,
	'frwiki' => true,
	'huwiki' => true,
	'plwiki' => true,
	'ptwiki' => true,
	'svwiki' => true,
),
---

And I currently see:

---
'wmgUseThanks' => array(
	'default' => false,
	'testwiki' => true,
	'mediawikiwiki' => true,
	'enwiki' => true,
	'metawiki' => true,
	'frwiki' => true,
	'huwiki' => true,
	'plwiki' => true,
	'ptwiki' => true,
	'svwiki' => true,
),
---

For this particular request, I don't believe it can be fulfilled until [[mw:Extension:Echo]] is installed on no.wikipedia.org. [[mw:Extension:Thanks]] seems to be completely dependent upon Echo.

Broadly, I'm not sure there's a need to have a separate configuration variable here. Making activation of the Thanks extension conditional upon the activation of the Echo extension seems reasonable.

This got fixed ages ago; see <http://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/highlight.php?file=echowikis.dblist>.
