Description Maggie Dennis 2013-07-11 17:18:49 UTC
An English Wikipedian (Joe Decker) writes (my paraphrase):

Would it be better to include options to "create new source from news", "from book", "from journal", "from web" where reference editor asks "Create new source"?

Or is it possible to have it do that after you click "insert reference" rather than requiring new editors who will not know about them to look for templates?

Also, once you do "insert reference", is it possible to add "help" content for editors in the whitespace (including identifying what a "group" is) so that they will know more about what they are doing?

And why is "media" insertion an option there, since media is not used in referencing?

Merging this with bug 50458.
