Description Maggie Dennis 2013-07-13 13:38:31 UTC
From English Wikipedia, John Broughton (♫♫) 22:40, 12 July 2013 (UTC):

It's not a high priority, but still, a suggestion: the default search text, for an image search, is the complete page name. So, for example, if someone is editing a draft article, at User:WhateverEditorName/Article name, the default search text is "WhateverEditorName/Article name". It would be better if the default ignored the final slash and all text to the left of it; in this case, it would mean the default search would be "Article name".
Comment 1 NicoV 2013-07-14 09:25:04 UTC
Bug title is incorrect, it would rather be something like "Default search text for images should ignore text before /"
Comment 2 Maggie Dennis 2013-07-14 12:56:57 UTC
I've changed it. Titles are editable in bugzilla, much like wikitext. :)
Comment 3 NicoV 2013-07-14 13:07:22 UTC
You missed my main point in the title : it's text "before" the / that should be ignored, not the text "after" ;-)

I don't see how I can change bug titles. Are you sure everyone has the rights to do so ?
The only things I can do is add a comment, add an attachment, ...
Comment 4 Maggie Dennis 2013-07-14 13:20:17 UTC
Ah, I see. :) I don't actually know if everyone has the rights to do so - bugzilla is a strange and wondrous land to me.
Comment 5 Alex Monk 2013-07-26 12:05:13 UTC
No, not everyone has the editbugs permission. Andre can give you it, CCing him.

See bug 40497 for the editbugs problem.
