Since the groups of sitelinks have been added, the link anchor has changed from #sitelinks to sth like #sitelinks-wikipedia . This was updated in the served HTML page, but not in the resulting DOM, and thus it fails to be at the right section.

Seems to work in Firefox, but not in Chrome, as per demo time.

Seems to work perfectly again in all browsers (chrome included)! This was apparently just an issue with the laptop we were using!

Verified in Wikidata demo July 31th.
