Description Raimond Spekking 2013-07-21 17:53:20 UTC
See URL. No idea why a whitespace was added.
Comment 1 Raimond Spekking 2013-07-21 17:54:07 UTC
I am speaking about line 8 of the diff.
Comment 2 Gabriel Wicke 2013-08-14 00:22:01 UTC
This does not happen in http://parsoid.wmflabs.org/_rt/de/Liste_der_deutschen_Botschafter_in_China?oldid=118342679

This makes it likely that this is either a DSR issue which is then triggered by selective serialization, or VE dropping a whitespace.
Comment 3 Gabriel Wicke 2013-08-20 19:57:35 UTC
I have not been able to reproduce this. Things I tried:

- Re-edit the oldid in VE (https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Liste_der_deutschen_Botschafter_in_China&oldid=118342679&veaction=edit). The diff vs. the latest version is clean (I removed the extra space in the latest version).

- Checked the DSR on the DOM produced by parsoid in http://parsoid.wmflabs.org/_rt/de/Liste_der_deutschen_Botschafter_in_China?oldid=118342679

It is possible that the user actually added the space in VE, or that there was a bug that has since been fixed. I am closing this bug as worksforme, please reopen if this problem still exists.

This is not possible. It's my own edit and I opened the VE thre times to be sure that it was not an accidently insertion by me.

Maybe....
