Description MZMcBride 2013-07-25 23:34:53 UTC
morebots should be moved to Tool Labs. morebots has extreme difficulty staying connected to freenode (cf. bug 50485) and it being on a host where very few people have access makes this much more annoying/awful.
Comment 1 Andrew Bogott 2013-07-25 23:37:43 UTC
the labs, e3, and analytics morebots already live on labs as project 'morebots'. It would be trivial to add a fourth.
Comment 2 Andrew Bogott 2013-07-25 23:38:12 UTC
Um... that is, they live in tool labs, as tool 'morebots'.
Comment 3 Andrew Bogott 2013-09-11 17:58:05 UTC
This is done!
Comment 4 Andre Klapper 2013-09-11 18:33:16 UTC
Ah yay.

Where should morebots' 2 bug reports live?
Currently I guess that a "morebots" component under https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=Tool%20labs%20tools would be the best place then? (for discussing the yet-to-change name "Tool labs tools" see bug 53986)
Comment 5 Andrew Bogott 2013-09-11 18:41:27 UTC
Yep, that seems like the right place.
Comment 6 Andre Klapper 2013-09-11 18:44:00 UTC
Thanks!
Comment 7 MZMcBride 2013-09-23 02:48:20 UTC
morebots has gone missing from #wikimedia-operations again. Are there docs somewhere about who can restart it and how from Labs?
Comment 8 Andrew Bogott 2013-09-23 04:56:17 UTC
Morebots seems OK at the moment. Documentation (such as it is) is here: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Admin_Logs

Feel free to amend or make suggestions.
