See <https://meta.wikimedia.org/?oldid=5683137#Notifications_are_now_live_on_Meta> - For at least some users, the "blending-in" of the notifications (when clicking on the number) into the current page does not work, instead Special:Notifications loads.
Comment 1 MF-Warburg 2013-07-28 17:24:55 UTC
On Monobook of course.
Comment 2 Bartosz Dziewoński 2013-07-28 17:27:05 UTC
Works for me. We can't do anything unless you provide some more information.

What browsers does it occur on? Does it occur if you disable all gadgets and user scripts? (The easiest way to test this is probably to create a new account.) Is Monobook the only affected skin?
Comment 3 MF-Warburg 2013-07-28 17:45:11 UTC
It works on Cologne Blue and Modern.
It also works, btw, when just having switched to Monobook and still being on Special:Preferences.

It occurs on Firefox 22.0; on a test-account it does work even if I copy over all settings + JS scripts.

This means this is caused by some of your own customizations, as gadgets and user scripts & styles are not loaded on Preferences.

Glad we've found the root cause :) I'll comment on offending script's ([[meta:User:Quentinv57/HideButtonsFromNonGsProjects.js]]) talk page with suggestions on how to unbreak it.

I think this can be safely marked as invalid now.
