Some messages that were recently added to the source are not loaded in http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org . For an example do this: 1. Go to http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Boleyn_family 2. Click the cog icon near Languages to open the ULS Language settings panel. 3. Click "Input" on the sidebar. 4. Click "Enable input tools". 5. A radio button appears with the label "International Phonetic Alphabet - SIL", and there's a "How to use" link near it. Notice that the link points to "http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/<uls-ime-helppage>". The target URL's ending "<uls-ime-helppage>" is a message that is supposed to be loaded from the UniversalLanguageSelector extension. It may be a problem with LocalisationUpdate or with messages cache. That is also the reason why https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/75328/ keeps failing.
I unbroke the l10n message updater yesterday. The message shows up an URL at: http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Uls-ime-helppage I guess there is some caching issue :(

The resource loader cache still has to be cleared properly :(
Will have a look at it again. Might have been related to squid/varnish not being purged properly.
unrelated, but I wouldn't mind seeing all of the caches purged/restarted on beta, since I removed some troublesome gadget code and we've had some other flaky behavior here and there
I am assuming this is working fine now and that there is nothing left to do.
