As reported by a Thai editor:

"The vowels and tone markers that normally reside above and below
the line are not displayed correctly in FireFox/Ubuntu (on the right
of attached image). These are displayed correctly in Chrome/Ubuntu
(on the left of attached image). The problem occurs only on the box
for wiki text. (both edit/view source)"

See image for demonstration.

Thai (th) is not using the language converter.

Which version of Firefox is this about? I wonder if this is a font issue?

You can try to edit any page on Thai Wikipedia. It produce the same problem.

Thanks for the screenshot in comment 0, that was helpful.

Tried on http://th.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E0%B8%A7%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%B5%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B5%E0%B8%A2:%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%87%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%82%E0%B8%B5%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%99&action=edit and Firefox 25 on Fedora 19 displays everythinhg correctly.
If this is still a problem, please report this as a bug to Ubuntu at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu

I have found a fix for this bug.

firefox preferences -> content -> advanced... -> Fonts for: Thai -> Monospace: change from monospace to anything else. Click OK and you will see the change.

Troubleshooting information after the change will show something like this:

Important Modified Preferences
font.name.monospace.th Tahoma

You may also be able to fix this by adjusting the "Edit area font style" option in [[Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing]]
