Description Ryan (Rjd0060) 2013-08-05 01:24:36 UTC
Our installation of the OTRS software will be updated in a couple of days, as mentioned in bug 22622. Could somebody with the relevant access (OTRS admins cannot currently do this) edit the "News" section on the main login page (see link) to show the following?:

"Important: OTRS will be down on August 6 beginning at 10:00 UTC for approximately 8 hours while we upgrade our software to version 3.0. Please continue to monitor your e-mail for updates. In the meantime, you may wish to review the transition guide."

"transition guide" at the end should link to https://otrs-wiki.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikimedia_OTRS_3.2_Transition_Guide.pdf

According to wikitech, "The "News" messages on the main OTRS login screen can be editing by modifying /opt/otrs/Kernel/Output/HTML/Standard/Motd.dtl."
