in OTRS, please change the "from:" mail address to not be noc@wm. currently people on noc@ get quite a bit of mail regarding OTRS, including out of office agent replies, but can't do much about it. instead please use something that goes directly to actual OTRS admins when people reply to mail. thanks
can easily create new aliases, like otrs-admins@ or similar if needed.

I'd say we should use the OTRS-admins@ mailman mailing list address instead if you could do that, and update that mchenry alias to also go to the list. Casey: are you okay with that in terms of additional moderation work?
good idea. sure. it may also need a step on the list config side though to accept mail from this "non-member" address.

I've cced the other list admins, Casey is one of them, Raimond and Daniel are the others.
The only reason messages were coming from noc@ was because the admins who were sending the message (myself as one) chose that address - it's the system default. We can change it. There's no need for operations to do anything here. It's a setting configurable by us (OTRS admins) at the time of sending a message. We can send it from any @wiki*edia.org address. The bug could be closed.
