Description Raimond Spekking 2013-08-13 07:24:18 UTC
Projects on translatewiki.net are handled by different maintainers.

Special:ManageMessageGroups is currently a call for all projects. It is impossible to run the special page for mediawiki-extensions only.

It is hard to decide what to do with entries on Special:ManageMessageGroups for projects I do not maintain.

Suggestion: Allow a call like Special:ManageMessageGroups/mediawiki-extensions

You can do this by running processMessageChanges.php with --group=ext-*. Not sure if --group can be used multiple times. Maybe Niklas can answer that.
Comment 2 Niklas Laxström 2013-08-17 09:34:44 UTC
It accepts comma separated list of group id patterns like most of Translate command line scripts.

Not sure what to do with this bug. I guess I will leave it open as a reminder. This will likely be addressed if/when the repository handling is rewritten to be more automatic.

The current status works well enough, as long as multiple people are not using the special page concurrently.
