AffCom is wondering if Ops has any thoughts on future requests for wikis from Thematic Organizations and User Groups recognized by the WMF Board. Would they be treated the same as Chapters? Is there any capacity concerns that should be considered and used to limit requests? Does a policy exist for requesting wikis? If not, do you think one should?

Thanks!

Hi varnent,
I don't consider an entry in a bugtracker (where specific software bugs or enhancement requests are handled) the right way to discuss organizational issues without any specific existing problems listed, hence I'm closing this ticket as INVALID.
If you really want the Operations team to comment on this (though I don't see exactly why yet), the mailing list address is <ops@lists.wikimedia.org>.

Note You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
