Description Jan Ainali 2013-08-30 18:58:49 UTC
Swedish Wikipedia has deactivated local uploads. However, this user seem (in his contributions) to have uploaded a file through the mobile interface. What has happened here?

It's just a local description page creation for a file from commons.
Comment 2 Jan Ainali 2013-09-03 22:08:14 UTC
I see. But then there is something that could be improved. Through ordinary links you should be redirected to Commons for all files from svwp, but somehow this user, on the mobile site, managed to make edits.

It seems implausible that he entered the URL by hand, so it would be nice to track where the svwp redirect to commons failed.

I'm not sure I understand this bug. The above link shows that user to have no contributions. Could you provide more detail - it's not clear how to make this actionable?
Comment 4 Jan Ainali 2013-09-05 18:52:00 UTC
Very strange. I am sure the user had two edits when i filed the bug. This links shows some support of it.

Comment 5 Ryan Kaldari 2013-09-05 19:02:39 UTC
The bogus file description page on sv.wiki was probably deleted.

I don't see anything actionable in this bug. If there is something we can do, please let us know, but otherwise the bug should be closed as invalid.
Comment 6 Jan Ainali 2013-09-05 19:06:56 UTC
You could probably close it then. If I see the same sort of strange edits circumventing our local redirects to Commons from the mobile site I can reopen it.

Note You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
