Description Kevin Rutherford 2013-09-14 19:39:17 UTC
I recently was uploading last night, and uploaded this image: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:New_Bedford_Municipal_Airport.jpg I never explicitly uploaded again, but somehow this image appeared, under a completely separate title: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:New_Bedford_Municipal_Airport_2.jpg. I'm wondering if there is a way that the app could be set up so that it notifies you if you are uploading a duplicate image under a different name, or at least prevent it from doing stuff like that in the future.

As the Mobile Apps Team is focussing on the new, native Wikipedia app, the Commons app is no longer being maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation. I am WONTFIXing all open Commons app bugs to reflect that we will not be spending time fixing them.
