I added an external link to the message MediaWiki:Watchthis.
This is parsed fine below the edit window.
But it's not parsed in the deleting dialog - see attached screenshot.

Thanks for taking the time to report this!

Wold love to know if this still happens in a more recent version (or whether there is a patch to backport)... Cannot find a previous ticket though.

Can someone test this on MW 1.21 please?
All of my wikis run with 1.19.8.

Just add [http://test.com foo] to MediaWiki:Watchthis and try to delete any page.
