The IPv6 GeoIP database [1] on stat1 and stat1002 does not automatically get updated, which may result in wrong geocoding of IPv6 requests. Newer databases are available at http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoIPv6.dat.gz Note that the file size for the newer databases is considerable smaller than file size for the old database (down from 5MB to 1MB). Maxmind says that this is ok, as the IPv6 data contains the IPv4 data, and the file size for IPv4 has been reduced. [1] /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIPv6.dat

Note that those files are from geolite. So we do not have to pay to get them.
