I could not reproduce this using the following steps:(Chrome Version 31.0.1650.57 Linux)

1. Go to Special:NotifyTranslators
2. For the languages, start choosing languages that are auto completed as you type.
3. Check the js console for errors.

If you are able to reproduce, can you give steps here? Thanks.

You actually have to submit the notifications by clicking preview and submit and inspect the console after page has reloaded.
