E3 is no more, as a team name. See: Wikipedia:Growth (team) on enwiki, and Growth on Meta + mediawiki.org

It would be nice to keep the same configuration as we have now, but have the name for https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/e3-team be growth-team instead.

I think forwarding would be easier to do than renaming the list - would you like to preserve the archives of the E3 team list?

The easiest method would be to just create a new list for growth-team then Daniel (or another ops member) could add a mail alias so emails sent to e3-team@ would forward to growth-team@. Would that work?

That would work perfectly. Thanks!

Great. I've created the list and done some basic set up (confirm and approve subscription, private archives and terse phrase) and sent you an email with the password.

CC'ing Daniel in here - Daniel please could you add an email alias (on exim I think?) to forward all emails sent to e3-team@lists.wikimedia.org to growth-team@lists.wikimedia.org (but don't set up a web redirect as Steven would still like to view the archives of the old list)?

Thank you so much!

On second thought, I am not sure we need to do this. Now that we have the new list, I unsub'd everyone, added relevant folks to the new list, and can set an auto-reply for the e3 list that points to the new list.
