Description Johnny 2013-09-26 12:23:34 UTC
Hello, search is not responding. MySQL error:

Database error
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
(SQL query hidden)
from within function "SearchMySQL::searchInternal". Database returned error "145: Table './acawiki/searchindex' is marked as crashed and should be repaired (localhost)".

I couldn't reproduce this by searching: https://ca.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Especial%3ACerca&profile=default&search=asdf+&fulltext=Search&searchengineselect=mediawiki

We aren't _supposed_ to be using SearchMySQL at all so if somehow we end up using it I'm not surprised it failed. I'll have a look at the logs.

I wasn't able to dig this out of the logs either but my log digging skills aren't thee best. Johnny, could you add the url you for which you got this message?

This needs better steps to reproduce, like the wiki that you are on...
