Instead of the year and month inputs, it would be useful to show a date picker so you can easily browse history from a certain date.  The offset parameter already supports arbitrary dates.

What's the expected use case where the user has a specific date in mind?

For example, looking at Wikipedia edits right before a news story broke, so you can see what the coverage looked like prior to then.
