Are you talking about the input list/pagegenerator? If so, that already works.

Otherwise, what's the use case for reading "p## q###" from a text file? I can't think of when that would be more advantageous than using commandline parameters.

It might be faster as the items could be stored in the generator.

Adding generators for the target pages is bug 55005.

It wont be faster to have the command line arguments in a file.

Please re-open with a better explanation of what you (apac) want.  Unfortunately you (apac) are not in this bug tracking system, so I cant cc you.
