Subject: give splitwarning.py a -file parameter
Original description:
Allows the user to specify want to split the log file.
like: -file:logs/interwiki.log.20120101.bak and -file:"C:\interwiki.log", and even can do multiple files at once.
Comment 1 Nemo 2013-10-05 11:01:28 UTC
I call this a regression, because you can no longer split logs spanning multiple days (of course the simple workaround is merging them manually with cat).
Comment 2 John Mark Vandenberg 2014-09-18 13:04:17 UTC
This looks like a compat issue, as core interwiki logging is done by the logging layer which can be split a certain size.

Sorry if I have misunderstood.
