Subject: template.py -remove end of line
Original description:
When running template.py -remove <template> i noticed that the template is removed but not the end of line leaving some extra unneeded whitespace. For example:

It would be nice if the only thing on a a line is
\{\{<template>\}\} 
and the template is removed that also the end of line is removed.

Please let us know if this feature request is still applicable to the
current code; maybe it is solved with one of the last releases.
If no response is given, the feature request will be denied
and the issue will be closed in two weeks from now. This message was added in
an effort to reduce the number of open issues on this project.
