I have a requirement to update multiple pages on Wikimedia.

I have exported existing pages in XML, updated the required fields and imported it again. The import went successful however the changes did not reflect.

Is there anything I am missing.

unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe the problem well. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem, please read https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and add a more useful description to this report by providing exact and clear steps to reproduce (real commands, instead of paraphrasing your steps).

Thanks for the update in bug 55561. For future reference, please avoid filing new tickets and instead add new comments to existing tickets.

Marking as duplicate of the newer ticket as it has more information.
