I just created a new tool group named "cvn". When logging in I see the home directory created is locked by root. I can't create any new files or directories. Not as 'local-cvn' and not as myself. local-cvn@tools-login:~$ l total 16 drwxrwsr-x 4 root root 38 Oct 14 03:54 . drwxr-xr-x 354 root root 12288 Oct 14 03:54 .. drwxrwsr-x 2 root root 6 Oct 14 03:54 cgi-bin drwxrwsr-x 2 root root 6 Oct 14 03:54 public_html Looks like I'm not the only one: local-cvn@tools-login:~$ l /data/project/ | grep root | grep -v '\.' drwxrwsr-x 4 root root 38 Oct 12 14:41 cropbot drwxrwsr-x 4 root root 38 Oct 14 03:54 cvn drwxrwsr-x 4 root root 38 Oct 11 10:18 wanderwiki
Can someone with sudo please fix this for CVN? I've got a particular thing on a shitload of dependencies and 2 of them currently come down to this. Can't do anything right now in CVN without setting up other workarounds for what is already a workaround for a workaround.
Those tools were created in the small period of time where there was a bug in the NFS permission handling. It should not recur, but those needs manual fixing. Fixed manually for the four affected tools.
