Do we? In latest master we simply add a bottom margin to divide sections. Seems a strange and non-useful thing to add...Regardless I'd suggest commenting on bug 55537

Talked to Jared and thought about this more -
You are right Jon, we could work without a placeholder image.

Can we make the spacing consistent between the activity and thanks section consistent with other when there is no image?
