The following API call used to work until a few days ago: http://www.wikisource.org/w/api.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&siprop=statistics&format=json It would return the same thing as: http://wikisource.org/w/api.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&siprop=statistics&format=json Now it ends up redirecting to: https://wikisource.org/wiki/Main_Page which doesn't seem like the ideal behavior. Can we get API calls to www.wikisource.org to work again?
Change 90764 had a related patch set uploaded by Reedy: www.wikisource.org is not a portal, redirect to wikisource.org https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/90764
Considering it's not an actual site, but a forced redirect to the non www version... You should probably also change your script to hit the non www version

I'm asking can we not redirect API calls the same way we do regular page calls? After all, http://www.wikisource.org/wiki/Special:Statistics still brings up the same page as https://wikisource.org/wiki/Special:Statistics not https://wikisource.org/wiki/Main_Page

The link from the description works again. Thanks for catching this.
