I have a similar issue to "bug 44833"; I have no way to recover password of my account, Diego Grez, after it had its password changed and had its email address unattached. I wish to recover my account. It used to have linked diegogrez@gmail.com as its email address, but that one or the one I used to log-in here will work. Thank you in advance guys,
To confirm that I am the legitimate owner of that account, here is a diff confirming the link of "Diego Grez" and my alternate account "Küñall", which I have been using ever since I lost access to the "Diego" account: https://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=User:K%C3%BC%C3%B1all&diff=1022357&oldid=1021628 If any more proof is needed I'll be glad to collaborate. You are right, your global account doesn't have an email address attached. enwiki doesn't have an email attached. aawiki does (though, it's neither of the 2 you have listed here), enwikinews does, and was authenticated 20101109185232, before unification at 20100821173120 and is your gmail. I've updated your global account to add your gmail address (per the fact it was on an authed account before SUL)
