Enabling "Enable tags for bugs" on http://boogs.wmflabs.org/userprefs.cgi adds an ugly and mostly hidden long item under "Links" in the sidebar (as its default assumes to be in the footer where there is horizontal space). Parent element is <li id="links-special"> 404 help link points to href="docs/en/html/query.html#individual-buglists"
Do not waste time on fixing this; need to recheck after upgrading to 4.4: http://www.bugzilla.org/releases/4.4.1/release-notes.html#v44_feat_bug_tags
(As I quickly looked into this, as I was replying to a wikitech-l@ post): Upstream 4.2 still has ./template/en/default/global/per-bug-queries.html.tmpl: <li id="links-special"> Upstream 4.5 does not. Instead, tags are another field displayed in the bug report itself, see e.g. https://landfill.bugzilla.org/bugzilla-tip/show_bug.cgi?id=21047 when being logged in. However, https://landfill.bugzilla.org/bugzilla-tip/query.cgi only offers searching for bug reports with a specific tag via "Custom Search" at the bottom.

I removed that file in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/106268/ already in our current 4.2 installation so tags can be used ("again") automatically once we upgraded to 4.4.
This is superseded by upstream 4.4's new Tags UI. Closing as WORKSFORME.
