Login to tools-login has a interesting spelling error "Did you know that you can disable these tips but doing touch ~/.suppresstips" I believe the intention was "these tips by doing"
I'm able to reproduce this bug, so I would like to work on it and resolve it.Can anyone please assign me this bug to me.
After discussion with roopak via email, it appears that they did not read the description closely enough to understand where the problem is and didn't really reproduce this bug as they have thought that the bug was in the mediawiki base code or was in a webpage. As I said before... When logging into the WMF tool labs login server (tools-login) if the tips are still enabled and if you get lucky to randomize into this specific message, you'll see the spelling error.
When logging into the tools-login I was presented with a new message today Did you know that you can update these tips on https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Nova_Resource:Tools/Tips ? I looked and apparently this had been changed back in September ( https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nova_Resource%3ATools%2FTips&diff=83663&oldid=73879 ) but hadn't made it down to the tools login by the time I reported it.
