Was trying to save an edit to this banner, at around 21:30 UTC today. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralNoticeBanners/Edit/B13_0701_txt_Fsion_dr_enYY

A second attempt at saving worked, and I haven't seen any similar error since. Seemed serious enough to be worth logging though.

That seems to be more a potential thing in Translate... I'll assign it there for the moment. Niklas, feel free to toss it back to me if it proves otherwise.

Is there a test environment where this scenario can be reproduced? Which is it? How can we access it? What is the exact scenario (i.e. steps to reproduce)?

This error occasionally comes up in translatewiki.net and wmf, but it is relatively rare. I don't have ideas how to go forward with this.
