Default resolution says, it is 800 x 443 pixels

On file pages of commons, Frontend displays wrong resolution on descriptions. Screenshot attached (language is Malayalam / ml ). This happens on both beta and regular versions.

Prioritization and scheduling of this bug is tracked on Mingle card https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/mobile/cards/1359
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2013-11-03 20:02:05 UTC
That's not wrong, that's actually the resolution of the image that's loaded. (It's merely shrunk to fit on screen.)
Comment 3 Jon 2013-11-03 21:45:55 UTC
What Brion says. The mobile site will shrink images to at maximum the size of the available screen width to optimise them for mobile viewing but if you open the image itself in a new tab you will see this is indeed the resolution.
Comment 4 praveenp 2013-11-04 17:45:00 UTC
Still the link leads to full resolution image and open in new tab needs a full reload.
