Preview of an article from template page doesn't handle changing the template to a redirect. The parser text ("1. REDIRECT Template:Other") is shown where the template should be.

Patch merged. Change should go out with 1.23wmf6, see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_1.23/Roadmap for the schedule.
