1) Access https://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page (using Google Chrome)
2) Middle click on "2 reader comments"

Expected result: the page opens in a new tab
Actual result: it opens in the same page

This is a browser-specific issue. It works fine in Firefox, but is indeed broken in Chrome.
