Last Edited has a green background based on the following algorithm - Freshness Algorithm - article lifetime = AL number of edits = NE Time since last edit = T Average time between edits = AT Fresh (T) = 1 hour or [(AL/AT)/10] whichever is greater When Fresh, the background color is #00af8b and the text color is the same.

Note: this only makes sense for mainspace, excluding main page, disambigs and probably some other classes of pages (needs investigation).
Talking with Vibha and Kaity it was agreed that the bar should only be green if an edit has occurred in the last 24 hours. This draws attention to the fact that the article is 'fresh' and has recently been edited. If we were to relate this to the birth day of an article the colour loses meaning as it will not be so clear why the bar is green as the day an article was created is nowhere in the UI.
