We have a {{PENDINGCHANGELEVEL}} magic word that shows the pending change status of the current page. It would be useful to extend this functionality to be able to specify an arbitrary page: e.g. {{PENDINGCHANGELEVEL: Foo}}. This would allow easy testing of protection templates such as [[Template:Pp-meta]].
