Description Nemo 2013-11-11 08:27:58 UTC
This should be a 404, not a 200:

$ curl -i http://etherpad.wmflabs.org/pad/p/smalloffices
HTTP/1.1 200 OK

The Etherpad Lite server that used to be here has been taken down and replaced with a new one. If you need to get something off of this instance urgently, please contact MHolmquist [ at ] Wikimedia [ dot ] org and explain your situation.

In the future, if you're on a website that is a subdomain of "wmflabs.org" - like "etherpad.wmflabs.org", for example - you should absolutely avoid putting any sensitive or important information there, unless the particular site has made assurances to the contrary. Labs is mostly a place for developers and sysadmins to play around with new configurations and show off in-progress work, and it's not guaranteed to be stable. So please, don't treat it like it is!

Comment 1 Andrew Bogott 2014-07-02 18:32:13 UTC
etherpad.wmflabs.org is no longer used
Comment 2 Tim Landscheidt 2014-07-02 19:26:50 UTC
Eh, some server *is* providing the message Nemo quoted :-).
Comment 3 Andrew Bogott 2014-07-02 19:28:51 UTC
Oh, true. My temptation, though, is to resolve this by deleting the instance entirely...
