Description Juan de Vojníkov 2013-11-11 10:34:27 UTC
When editing is launched via section, filling automaticaly the edit summary with the section is not correct. Editor may edit also elsewhere.

What exactly "is not correct"? Please provide an example and steps to reproduce.

You are asking for the inverse of bug 50872.
Comment 3 Chris McKenna 2013-11-11 15:46:31 UTC
Rather than this, what would be better is what bug 51903 asks for, which is for VE to detect whether changes are confined to a single section and if so then include the title of that section in the edit summary.

Edit summary is not correct. If I start to edit an article from a section, in VE you dont edit by sections, you edit all article. So I edited all article, but then when saving the pre-added summary was about that section. That is wrong.

Oh yes, or to find a different way to enhance this problem.
